The Bible is our ONLY Authority

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, written by human hands, but supernaturally inspired and authoritative for every age and every life.
2 Timothy 3:16, Romans 3:2, 2 Peter 1:21, 2 Peter 3:16

We believe that God exists eternally in the three persons of the Trinity: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, and that these three are one God.
Genesis 1:1, Genesis 1:26, Exodus 3:13-14, Deuteronomy 6:4-5, Deuteronomy 33:27, Isaiah 44:6-8, Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19-20, 2 Corinthians 13:14

We believe that God is the absolute and sole creator of the universe, and that creation was caused by His divine decree and wondrous design, not by a random evolutionary process.
Genesis 1:1, Psalm 135:6, John 1:1-3, Colossians 1:16-17

We believe that God, by His choice and because of His love for mankind, sent Christ into the world to save sinners.
John 3:16, Romans 5:8

We believe that Jesus Christ in the flesh:

  • was both God and man
  • was born of a virgin.
  • lived a sinless life.
  • taught and worked miracles exactly as revealed in the four Gospels.
  • was crucified and died to pay the penalty for our sins.
  • was bodily raised from the dead on the 3rd day.
  • ascended to the Father’s right hand where He is the head of the church and intercedes for believers.
  • is coming again in the flesh to set up His kingdom.

Isaiah 7:14, Isaiah 9:6-7, Luke 1:26-35, John 1:1-14, Hebrews 4:14-16, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, 1 Timothy 3:16, Colossians 1:18, Hebrews 7:25, John 14:1-3, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

We believe that Jesus Christ made a perfect atonement for sin, redeeming us from the curse of the law by having become a curse for us.
Acts 13:38-39, Romans 3:24-25, Romans 5:1-11

We believe that the gifts of salvation from sin and eternal life is an act of God’s pure grace and not the result of good works, baptism, church membership, or any of man’s efforts.
Ephesians 2:8-9, 2 Timothy 1:9 Titus 3:5

We believe that a true believer cannot lose their salvation, but sin may interrupt the joy and fellowship with God and bring with it His loving discipline.
John 10:28-30, Romans 8:28-39, Ephesians 4:30

We believe that all who receive Jesus as their Savior become joint heirs with Him. At death, their spirit departs to be with Christ, and at the rapture, their bodies will be raised in the likeness of Christ’s glory and dwell forever in His presence.
Romans 8:16-17, 2 Corinthians 5:8, 1 John 3:2

We believe that it should be the goal of every Christian to grow in spiritual maturity through obedience to God’s word and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 4:15, 1 Peter 2:2, 1 Peter 3:18

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person, is God, and possesses all of God’s divine attributes. He comes to live in believers, baptizes and seals them at the moment of their salvation, and fills believers in response to confession of sin and submission to God’s will.
John 14:16-18, Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 6:19, 1 Corinthians 12:13, 2 Corinthians 1:21-22, Ephesians 4:30, Ephesians 5:18

We believe that Christian marriage is a sacred institution ordained of God for the happiness of mankind and the propagation of the race. It is the spiritual and physical union of one man and one woman; this is the only legitimate sexual relationship and, according to the scriptural ideal, is to be broken only by death. Accordingly, this Church, its’ Pastors, staff and members, will not recognize any other union as a legitimate marriage; our Church and staff shall not participate in any same sex marriage or unions or ceremonies of any kind; and Church facilities shall not be used for such purposes.
Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6; Ephesians 5:31
